Terms

The rules for using this site, the free tools and the products you buy here.

Last updated October 14, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to kasimkazmi.com, the free DevTools, the ready-made products sold on the site and the customer portal at customer-portal.kasimkazmi.com. They are offered by Kasim Kazmi, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to them. How personal information is handled is covered in the privacy policy.

2. Client projects

Custom development work, including service packages, is agreed in a separate proposal or contract. If that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins.

3. Buying a ready-made product

  • Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Payment is taken by Stripe when you check out, and taxes are added where they apply.
  • After payment you get an order confirmation and invoice by email, and access to the customer portal, where you download the source code and setup guide.
  • The product is delivered as source code, in the condition described on its page. Setup, hosting and customisation are not included unless stated.

4. Your licence

When you buy a ready-made product, you get a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to:

  • use, change and deploy the code for your own projects or for your clients;
  • build and sell products and services made with it.

You may not resell, share or publish the source code itself, on its own or as a template, kit or competing product. Ownership of the original code stays with Kasim Kazmi. Open-source libraries included in a product keep their own licences.

5. Refunds

Because source code is delivered straight away and can't be returned, sales are final. If a product doesn't match its description or can't be delivered, email support@kasimkazmi.com within 14 days of purchase with your order reference, and I'll fix the problem or refund you. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer protection law.

6. Your customer portal account

Keep your password private; you're responsible for what happens in your account. I may suspend an account that shares downloads or breaks these terms. If downloads move or the portal changes, you'll keep access to what you bought.

7. The free DevTools

The tools are free to use, for personal or commercial work. They are provided as they are, without any guarantee that results are accurate. Check anything important, such as invoices, calculations or print files, before relying on it.

8. Feedback and testimonials

When you submit feedback, you allow me to show your name, title and comments on the site after review. Please only submit honest feedback about your own experience. I can edit for length or decline to publish, and I'll remove a testimonial if you ask.

9. Using the site fairly

Don't try to break into the site or portal, overload it, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. Content on this site, including text, designs and case studies, belongs to Kasim Kazmi unless stated otherwise.

10. Liability

Products and the site are provided as they are. As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and my total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.

12. Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top will change too. Purchases are governed by the terms in place when you bought. Questions go to support@kasimkazmi.com.
